Few things are cooler than being able to cook alongside one of the Greatest TV Chefs of all time! So gracious and generous, Graham Kerr (a/k/a “The Galloping Gourmet”) made me feel right at home as he shows us how to make one of his favorite healthy breakfasts, Purple Porridge.

SO WHAT YOU'RE GONNA NEED IS:

  • In small Saucepan, add Rolled Oats, Dried Fruit and Chopped Mixed Nuts. (You can do this the night before if you like)When ready to make the Porridge, add 1% Milk and Fresh or Frozen Berries.Cover Saucepan. Turn on stove to Low – Medium Low, depending on your stove.Cook for 15-30 minutes, until begins to bubble and the viscosity of the Porridge stands up on a spoon.Serve in bowl and top with a spoonful of cold Yogurt
