Mama Fucci's Homemade Pizza Dough

This pizza dough recipe is just how mom used to make it!  And there's no denying that her pizza nights were always a favorite in my family.  Just ask my sister, who would ask for mom's homemade pizza every single birthday.  Thanks sis!

Ingredients

SO WHAT YOU'RE GONNA NEED IS:

- (1 3/4 - 2) cups Flour (“00” or All-purpose): Available Here

- (3/4) cup warm Water (about 110° F): Use your tap or if you must, Available Here

- (1) package of Quick Rising Active Dry Yeast: Available Here

- (1) teaspoon Salt: Available Here

- (1) teaspoon Sugar: Available Here

- (1 1/2) Tablespoon Olive Oil: Available Here

YOU'LL ALSO NEED:

- Food Processor (optional): Available Here

- Large Mixing Bowl:  Available Here

- Pizza Pan: Available Here

- Towel: Available Here

Instructions

  1. Pour warm Water into a large bowl. Add Yeast until it starts to foam (about 5 minutes).

Food Processor Method:

  1. In food processor, combine Flour, Sugar, Salt and Oil.
  2. Add Yeast mixture
  3. Mix until thoroughly kneaded and dough ball forms. Dough should be sticky but not overly so. Add more flour if necessary.

Manual Method:

  1. Add Sugar, Salt and Oil into Yeast mixture.
  2. Add Flour and Mix in bowl until thoroughly incorporated.
  3. Turn out to floured board and knead until tender. Dough should be sticky but not overly so. Add more flour if necessary.

  1. Place on greased pizza pan and cover with a clean towel.
  2. Let rise.
