SO WHAT YOU'RE GONNA NEED IS:

For two Toasts:

- (1) Avocado: Available Here

- (1) Small Sourdough Loaf: Available Here

- (1) Lemon: Available Here

- (1) Tablespoon Olive Oil: Available Here

- (1) teaspoon Black Sesame Seeds: Available Here

- (To taste) Salt: Available Here

- (To taste) Red Pepper Flakes: Available Here

YOU'LL ALSO NEED:

- Cast Iron Grill Pan: Available Here

- Bread Knife: Available Here

- Sharp Knife: Available Here or Available Here

- Zester: Available Here

- Tongs: Available Here

- Mixing Bowl: Available Here

- Spoon: Just grab one from your silverware drawer

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, add the zest of one lemon. (Note: I usually use on large lemon per two toasts, but adjust more or less to taste.)
  2. Add Black Sesame Seeds, Red Pepper Flakes and Salt.
  3. Cut Sourdough Bread into one inch slices.
  4. Generously drizzle with olive oil on both sides of bread. Salt both sides.  Then rub bread into the cutting board to evenly distribute the olive oil and salt.
  5. Preferably in a grill pan (it does make a difference) over medium heat, toast bread on both sides until toasted with grill marks.
  6. Peel and slice avocados and evenly distribute on toast.
  7. Top with Lemon, Sesame Seed and Red Pepper Flake mixture.
