You can’t get more basic than one ingredient…especially when that one ingredient is Cheese.  Now, crisp that cheese perfectly and you’ll redefine it.  The recipe: Simple.  The results: Sophisticated. 

The Oven Method is great for making more than an individual serving or turning Frico into bowls, fortune cookies or other shapes.

Ingredients

SO WHAT YOU'RE GONNA NEED IS:

Per Frico

- (1) heaping Tablespoon Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese (grated): Available Here

YOU'LL ALSO NEED:

- Baking Sheet: Available Here

- Silicon Baking Mat: Available Here

- Offset Spatula: Available Here

- Measuring Spoon: Available Here

Instructions

  1. Place finely grated Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese on Baking Sheet lined with a Silicone Baking Mat.
  2. Using a fork, spread the Cheese into a circle about 3½ - 4 inches in diameter.
  3. Place in 400°F oven for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. No flipping needed.
  4. Let cool on pan for about a minute and then place over a rolling pin (or something similar) to cool.
