The age-old question about whether or not to put nuts in your Banana Bread has been finally answered: Who Cares!?!  We’re putting Cinnamon Chips in ours and it’s gonna be sooooo much better. 

Ingredients

SO WHAT YOU'RE GONNA NEED IS:

- (2) ugly ripe Bananas: Available Here

- (1/2) cup Cinnamon Chips: Available Here

- (1 3/4) cup Flour: Available Here

- (2) teaspoons Baking Powder: Available Here

- (1/2) teaspoon Baking Soda: Available Here

- (1/2) teaspoon Salt: Available Here

- (1/2) teaspoon Cinnamon: Available Here

- (1) teaspoon Vanilla Extract: Available Here

- (1/2) cup Applesauce: Available Here

- (2) large Eggs: Available Here

- (3/4) cup Sugar: Available Here

- (1) teaspoon oil (for greasing pan): Available Here

- Large and Small Mixing Bowl: Available Here

- Hand Mixer: Available Here

- Bread Pan: Available Here

- Toothpick (optional, for testing bread’s doneness): Available Here

- Paper Towel (optional, for greasing pan): Available Here

Instructions

  1. Smash the bananas and set aside.
  2. In small mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  3. In large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, applesauce, eggs and vanilla extract
  4. Beat with hand mixer for 2 minutes, until frothy.
  5. Into the egg mixture, slowly add the dry ingredients from the small mixing bowl, mixing with silicone spatula until thoroughly combined into a thick batter.
  6. Mix in bananas.
  7. Fold in cinnamon chips.
  8. Transfer into oiled bread pan.
  9. Bake in a 325 degree oven for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool
