I always like getting back to the basics…back to when life was simple and easy.  That’s precisely what this recipe is…simple and easy.  The hardest part will be to figure out in which dishes you’re gonna use this sauce first. 

Ingredients

SO WHAT YOU'RE GONNA NEED IS:

- (1) 15 ounce can Diced Tomatoes: Available Here

- (2) cloves Garlic: Available Here

- (1/2) cup Onion: Available Here

- (1) teaspoon Oregano: Available Here

- (1) teaspoon Basil: Available Here

- (2) Tablespoons Olive Oil: Available Here

- (To taste) Salt: Available Here

- (To taste) Pepper: Available Here

YOU'LL ALSO NEED:

- Small Pot: Available Here

- Silicone Spatula: Available Here

- Can Opener: Available Here

- Garlic Press: Available Here

- Sharp Knife: Available Here

Instructions

  1. Mince Garlic with a Knife or use a Garlic Press.
  2. Chop 1/2 of the Onion.
  3. Place a pot on the stove over medium heat. Add 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil.
  4. Add the Garlic and Onion. Add a pinch of Salt.  Sauté until onions until they are tender.
  5. Add Diced tomatoes.
  6. Add Oregano, Basil, Pepper and Salt to taste.
  7. Simmer for 20 minutes.
